Children of deceased soldiers, as well as children-orphans can study at reduced rates. The same conditions are for excellent students.
The oldest non-governmental university of Armenia is "Galick" university, which was founded in 1989 pursuant to the law on "Cooperative".
Most of the University graduates work in state institutions, law bodies, banking, financial organizations, Mass Media companies and a number of international organizations in Armenia.
The professional stuff of "Galick" university consists of many Armenian well-experienced specialists with long-term scientific and pedagogical experience.
In all the faculties profound study of foreign languages are realized and also the students have an opportunity to learn a second foreign language. The University has a rich professional library, speacliazied lecture halls, twenty-four-hour Internet connection, fax, electronic, modern well-equipped computer classes available to the students.
The University publishes large-circulation students newspaper named "Galick".
The students can take their educational and diploma practice in foreign institutes, law, financial and banking organizations and Mass Media offices.

- Applicants with Russian education can take the examination in Russian(dictation).
- Students have an opportunity for distance learning for all professions except of foreign languages.
- For all the specializations of the university bachelors can also take MA courses for two years.
- Applicants having graduated from another university can get a second profession by distance learning.
- The university has preliminary courses 10th class students or applicants that have already finished their schools.
- The University implements 3-leveled education and trains undergraduate, MA and postgraduate courses.
- Other applicants for postgraduate courses that have graduated from other universities can apply for postgraduate courses together with the gradates of the university.
- Applicants for MA courses that have higher eucation and have graduated with "good" or "exallant" marks can pass exams for postgraduate studies by interveiw.
- Applicants with no primary education can pass only one exam, which is their professional subject.
